The Final Blog Entry
My team's name was "Team One" and I was in Carlos and Ryan's team. Our PowerPoint pressentation was on the New York New York, Las Vegas shooting, that happened in 2007.
In this class, I learned how to use all of the different Microsoft programs, throughout the entire class. I actually learned how to go deeper into the programs, then just typing out a paragraph of some sort. For example, I learned how to change and edit some more, on the Microsoft Word documents. I didn’t think there was more to the program, then just a blank page. In Microsoft PowerPoint, I learned how to add more items/things, to a single slide. I didn’t I could do a PowerPoint with music synced to it, while having it, self ran. In Microsoft Excel, I learned how to do Math, on the program, so that way, I can be ready in my field. I also learned how to use the Microsoft Access, but my only struggles with that program, was getting to save my work. I lost my work twice using that program because I didn’t know how to save. One of my classmates showed me how, so I ended up, doing it right. And finally, I learned how to use the Microsoft Publisher. What I really liked about that program, is that you can create your own project, in a Newsletter style that adds a style of some sort, and makes it more readable, by the way it looks. Throughout the quarter, I actually felt like I learned a lot from the different programs, while still being able to have fun with it. I feel like I’ve learned enough to get me ready for my future classes, so that way, I know how to use specific programs that will be required throughout my major. Also, I still feel that there is much more to learn about the programs it-self, then what we went over, but if everything was covered, I wouldn’t change any of it. I would leave the class, just the way it already is.
The final grade I should get in this class, would have to be either and “A-“ or a “B”. I would say and “A” because I’ve worked hard throughout the quarter, but so has everyone else, so I’m going to stick with a "B". I think I should get a “B” because there were some projects that I turned in late, and I did well on the midterm. Also, I think I do deserve that "B" because my teamates never showed up, and therefore, there was no PowerPoint presentation to show. Overall, I would give myself and “A” for all of the work, but I strongly feel that I deserve the “B”. My final grade overall should be a “B”.

Video
My experience with the video is that I actually had a lot of fun, making my video. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but after brainstorming a little, I finally figured out what I was going to do. When it was time for the video, I was pumped and felt like nothing in the world mattered. Once the video was shot, I didn’t care who sees it, and who comments on it, as long as I represent our school. My only downfall of the video, is that the camera as blurry, and that I can’t really see myself, clearly enough so everyone can recognize me. Only by the clothing I’m wearing today, some peps can recognize me. My experience with YouTube is that you can upload any video, at anytime. To start off, I actually thought that is was going to be easy, putting it up online. What I didn’t expect, was to make sure the html, was properly inserted in the blog entry page. After I had the video inserted, I actually got a change to look at what it turned out to be, and I was impressed with what YouTube can do.

The good things about Twitter are, you can stay in touch with a lot of people. A lot of those people can be from your friends, to your family. Another good thing about Twitter is that you can tell anyone that is bothering you that you are someone else, just to get them away from you. Another good thing about Twitter, is that you can randomly be talking to someone who’s been through a lot of experience, and there for, that person can give you a lot of ideas or pointers, depending on what the conversation is all about.
The bad things about Twitter are that you can lie to a lot of people, by not showing a picture of yourself. You can be talking to a minor or someone in that “not normal” category and end up getting in a lot of trouble with the law. Un like MySpace where you have a picture of yourself and see picture/s of the ones you are talking to, Twitter doesn’t have pictures and so, that’s when you know you can be talking with spam. MySpace receives spam too, but you can ignore that. Twitter, you can’t say much because you won’t be able to know if it is spam of someone real.

CIS100 Computer Applications
EOC Week 5
So far in the Windows Lab, I want to continue to learn how to use Microsoft Excel because that’s still the program that I’m having most troubles with. I still haven’t quite figured out how to get the columns and rows, to add up. Also, I still feel that I need to learn how to add in data because I might need that program in my field. I still would like to cover what’s all in the book, and if anything else comes up, I think it would be great to learn all of it. There’s still a few things about all of the programs that I still don’t quite know how to use, so it’s definitely a good idea to learn something new. I really don’t know what else to talk about or what else to learn that I haven’t seen to my point, but I’m looking forward to learning new things.

CIS100 Computer Applications
EOC Week 4
So far on what I learned in this class, is how to use Microsoft Excel, and begin to use the Garage Band program. Also, I learned how to create a blog. I’m still having a few problems getting used to the blog entries, but I’m getting the hang of it, day by day. Also, I still feel is one of my biggest challenges is the Microsoft Excel because I’ve never really used that program for any reason. Also, I still feel that I might need to learn a little more on the Excel program because I might need to use it later on in my career. Another thing that I learned and that I still need to continue to practice is getting used of logging in, into my bog entries, because I need to sound professional for adults.

Song Mixtures

CIS100 Computer Applications
EOC Week 3
My favorite kind of music is R&B, but I also love Techno. If I could mix and create music, I would combine R&B mixed with Techno because I think it would sound amazing, and it is something new to some people. For those who have heard a mixture of Techno and R&B, I would then like to try something new by combining Techno, R&B, and Rock, just to get a new flow and feel to music.

EOC week 2
Some of the things that scare me that are on the web would have to be anything that relates to spam. Spam could be anything from getting a new free entertainment system, to anything that relates to sex. Since I’m a guy who attends college, and I’m over the age of 21, I get scared to open up a random email and have it turn out to be a minor, who’s looking for alcohol or prostitution, just to get me caught and have me sent to jail. I’ve had a friend from high school who didn’t bother to listen to the spam he kept receiving on his mail, and one day, he accidentally opened up one of the minor spam’s, and ended up going to jail because he ended up talking to a girl who told him she was 18, when she really was 13.
My second most worst spam that scares me, is getting pop ups, that tell you that you got a new free tv, game system, or something in that category. I’ve had past experience with my old computer, to the point where it began to run slower and slower everyday because I accidentally clicked on a certain website and it took me to a pop up. When I tried to close down the window, it told me that if I closed the window, it will shut down my computer and any unsaved data, will be erased. I thought it was just a simple little message, so I clicked the close button, and my entire computer shut down. As soon as I restarted it, a lot of my unsaved date was gone, and there was no way I could retrieve it back, so lost all of that information. In the end, my computer crashed from running too slow, and I haven’t had a new computer or lab top, ever since.

Club Short-Z is one of the newest, and most hottest clubs in Las Vegas. I started my design when I was still going to school and chose this field because I'm really passionate about my field, and I knew that there are a lot of people out there that love specific themes, year round around. My first design for the club, was to have a Halloween theme because I knew that there are a lot of Halloween fans that would like it to be year around, so I decided to create my theme, year around. I like the fact that the theme excited everyone liked my style, so I decided to go for a different theme for my current club. My second theme was a pirate theme, but I came to realize that "Treasure Island" already has a pirate theme so I stayed with my first idea.
For my second club, I’m working on a new project, where the theme is “Modern”. Not related to anything that relates to Space like theme, I’m only focusing on the style which goes from curves, and space planning correctly. I decided this idea because I want people to tell the difference between a Space like theme, to my Modern theme. Also, for another of my upcoming projects, is that I’m working on designing a bar area for club Short-Z, so adults can get a feel of relaxation, when going to the club. It was originally intended to be just a regular club, but I like the idea of having a built in bar for the adult who just want to "relax". My first bar design at for the club, is that I want to make the be, Hawaiian or Beech like because I’ve always loved the beach. Another reason why I decided to pick that theme is because I know someone that I'm very close to and is special to me, so I decided to do it on a club idea she would like to see. I really liked the idea she gave me so i took it into consideration.
